Mid-Level Project & Client Manager (Remote, Freelance)

Role Overview: Consciously—a Certified B Corp brand and marketing company proudly Black- and woman-owned—is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Mid-Level Project & Client Manager. This freelance position is remote within the US, starting at 15-20 hours per week, with potential for growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage digital branding, content, design, and web development projects from strategy through execution.
• Lead client check-ins and internal status meetings.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Facilitate project deliverables within budget and timelines.
• Conduct QA reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Address client inquiries and asset requests efficiently.

What You Bring:

• 3-4 years of experience managing branding, marketing, or digital projects.
• Proficiency in project management tools (ClickUp, Slack, Google Drive).
• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage large volumes of information and streamline processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate collaboration, appreciating diverse working styles and experiences.
• Availability for virtual meetings during EST business hours (9 am – 5 pm).

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with remote teamwork.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing and the tools to perform.
• Good eye for content/design quality assurance.
• Interest in marketing and a desire to grow skills.

Tools We Use:

• Collaboration: Slack, Zoom, Google Drive
• Project Management: ClickUp
• Content/Design Feedback: Google Docs, PowerPoint, Figma
• Tech/Marketing: WordPress, Squarespace, Coschedule, Sparktoro, SEMRush

Schedule & Compensation:

• Approx. 15-30 hrs/week; flexible within EST working hours.
• Hourly rate: $40-$65 / hr executed as a flat monthly rate, based on experience.
